Therapy in Rockland County, NY
From New City, Nyack, Pearl River and Tappan, our Newburgh office is about 45 to 50 minutes up the Palisades Parkway or the Thruway. That's a real drive, so telehealth is the simple way to meet from Rockland, and the office is there when you'd like to come in.
Getting to the office
From New City, Google Maps takes you north on the Palisades Parkway and then the Thruway, about 46 minutes. From Nyack, Tappan and Pearl River it's the Thruway north, about 46 to 48 minutes, with a toll. From Nyack and Pearl River, Google Maps also offered the Palisades Parkway, about 52 to 55 minutes.
If you'd like to come in, a first session is a good time to do it. Some people like to meet their therapist face to face once and then carry on by telehealth. Ask when you reach out whether that works with the person you'd like to see. Google's times are for a weekday late morning, and the Thruway through Rockland is slower at rush hour.
Living near the New Jersey line
Our clinicians practice in New York State, so for a telehealth session you need to be in New York State. That matters more in Rockland than almost anywhere. Tappan, Palisades, Orangeburg and Pearl River all sit a few minutes from the New Jersey line, and plenty of people here work in Bergen County.
If that's you, plan sessions for when you're on the New York side: before you leave in the morning, after you're home, or from somewhere in Rockland on your lunch break. We'll help you find a time that works.
Couples can meet together by telehealth when one of you works in New Jersey. You both just need to be on the New York side for the session.

We take these plans. If you'd rather pay for yourself, individual sessions are $100 and couples sessions are $115.

No. Our clinicians practice in New York State, so you need to be in New York State during each session. Home, a parked car on the New York side, or anywhere else in the state works.
How long is the drive from New City?
About 46 minutes by the Palisades Parkway and the Thruway, going by Google Maps on a weekday late morning.
Do you have an office in Rockland?
No. Our only office is in Newburgh, about 45 to 50 minutes north. Telehealth works anywhere in New York State, including all of Rockland.
Can I start in person and then switch to telehealth?
Ask when you reach out. It depends on the therapist, and we'll tell you plainly who can do what.
