About Ashley

Everyone deserves the opportunity to build a life that feels meaningful, fulfilling, and authentically their own. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what needs to change, counseling can be a space to better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and discover what moving forward can look like for you.

My approach to counseling is warm, collaborative, and personalized to you. I genuinely enjoy getting to know clients—who you are, what matters to you, what you’re already doing well, and where you would like life to feel different. I believe meaningful change happens when insight is paired with action. Together, we can turn what you discover in counseling into positive changes in your everyday life by building on your strengths, developing practical skills, and exploring new ways of thinking, responding, and connecting with others.

I enjoy working with children, adults, couples, and families. My developing clinical approach draws from behavioral and cognitive behavioral therapies, Motivational Interviewing, Adlerian principles, and other evidence-based practices. I am also pursuing additional training in play therapy and the Gottman Method for couples counseling.

I want counseling to be a place where you feel genuinely known, supported, and encouraged to grow. Whether that means helping a child express and understand their emotions, supporting an individual through anxiety or a difficult season of life, or helping couples and families feel more connected, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward the life and relationships you want.

I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Texas A&M University–Kingsville.

Ashley is a supervised intern and sees clients under the supervision of a licensed clinician.
