About Sofia
Sofia Delarosa is a Social Work Intern who passionate about working with children, adolescents and adults and creating a safe, supportive space where they can feel comfortable expressing themselves. She understands that growing up and experiencing life transitions can come with many challenges, and she strives to meet each client with patience, compassion, and without judgment.
Sofia is especially interested in supporting young people and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, difficulty managing emotions, school-related challenges, or relationship concerns. She takes a person-centered and strengths-based approach, recognizing that every individual has their own unique experiences, needs, and strengths. Sofia additionally is bi-lingual and fluent in Spanish for clients needing sessions in their native language.
Sofia is a supervised intern and sees clients under the supervision of a licensed clinician.
